Hidden Letters

02 March 2020
Hey Friends!  I just wanted to pop in and share a fun little packet I just finished!

I created this to help our littlest learners with their letter identification.  Each page has a secret hidden uppercase letters.  Students will choose two colors for the color code that will ultimately reveal the secret letter.  You could use this with your sweet little ones just learning their letters or with older kids who need help with just a handful of letters.

I hope this packet is helpful to you and your little learners!  Click HERE to grab one!

Valentine's Day Alphabet Activities

01 February 2020

Hey!  It's been a minute since I've posted anything on this dear old blog of mine and there is one very good reason for that...

Our sweet little baby boy joined us in November and we've been devoting every waking minute to snuggling and nurturing him.  However, my maternity leave has come to an end and I have been able to find some time here and there (i.e., when I am pumping for that cute boy, haha) to work on some new stuff.

This Valentine's Day themed packet of alphabet activities is going to be a total hit with your little learners.  I've packed it full with a variety of hands-on, engaging learning activities that will aide in letter formation, phoneme and grapheme recognition, initial sound correspondence, and more!  Take a look!

I just know that your little learners will love working on their alphabetical fluency with this packet, especially as we gear up for Valentine's Day!  Click here or below to purchase.  Happy Teaching!

Love, Bethany

Alphabet Mats

07 September 2019
It's been quite a while since I've written a blog post and I actually have a very good reason for that, haha!  Baby number two is well on his way!  Between morning sickness, chasing my toddler, and starting a new school year with a batch of new first graders, life has been crazy!  I'm super excited to share this new product though because I feel it is a powerful tool to help your cute kiddos get a better grasp on their knowledge of the alphabet!

These alphabet mats are available in both colored and black/white, ink-friendly versions.  You can print them out, laminate them if you like, and use them in so many different ways.  Here are a few ideas!

Use mini-erasers (the best ones come from the Target dollar spot!) to help students fill in the letters.  You could also laminate the pages and use a dry erase marker for repeated practice.

Break out the play dough and let students have a blast creating the letters or even making the objects pictured on the side of each mat!

Print out a black/white copy and let students use markers, stickers, etc. to decorate the mat, having so much fun while they add to their alphabet knowledge!

Honestly, the sky is the limit on fun manipulatives you can have children use!  I love these sparkly pom-poms!

Click HERE or on the image below to be taken to my Teachers Pay Teachers shop and grab this packet of alphabet mats for yourself!

Alphabet Chart Freebie!

06 August 2013

Today is my birthday and I am all kinds of happy!  You know the feeling? So I thought I'd pop on here and post a freebie!  This little alphabet chart is nothing new and nothing too fancy, but it sure is helpful in the beginning of the year when you're teaching those beginning letter sounds.  Enjoy, friends!
